Tummy Tuck

A tummy tuck, or abdominoplasty, is a procedure designed to improve the shape and contour of the abdomen by removing excess skin and fat while tightening the underlying abdominal muscles when needed. It can create a flatter, firmer midsection and is often a great option for patients dealing with loose skin or muscle separation after pregnancy or significant weight loss.

Types of TUmmy Tucks

Tummy tuck options vary based on the amount and location of excess skin as well as a patient’s overall goals. A mini tummy tuck focuses on the lower abdomen below the belly button, a traditional tummy tuck addresses the full abdomen, an extended tummy tuck improves the abdomen and flanks, and a fleur-de-lis tummy tuck is designed for patients with significant excess skin both vertically and horizontally, often after major weight loss.
