Breast Implant Removal
Breast implant removal is a procedure performed to remove existing implants for patients who desire a change in size, have implant-related concerns, or simply wish to return to a more natural breast appearance. Depending on the patient’s anatomy and goals, implant removal may be performed on its own or combined with additional procedures such as a breast lift or fat grafting to help restore shape and balance.

Breast implant removal can be performed with or without capsulectomy, depending on the condition of the implant capsule, the patient’s anatomy, and their overall goals. For patients who no longer want implants or are interested in changing them, implant removal may be done on its own, combined with implant exchange, or paired with a breast lift to help reshape the breasts and improve contour after the implants are removed.
