Labiaplasty

Labiaplasty is a procedure designed to reduce or reshape elongated or asymmetric labial tissue for improved comfort and a more refined appearance. Patients often seek labiaplasty to address irritation with clothing, exercise, or intimacy, while also achieving a result that feels more comfortable and proportionate.

Types of Labiaplasty

Labiaplasty can be performed using different techniques depending on a patient’s anatomy and goals, with the two most common being edge trim and wedge excision. An edge trim removes excess tissue along the outer rim of the labia minora, while a wedge technique removes a central portion of tissue to reduce prominence while preserving the natural edge in appropriately selected patients.
